Our wonderful 2nd Class pupils are making their First Holy Communion this Saturday. We hope they all have a lovely day celebrating with their families and friends. ✨

As is tradition, there will be a party for the children in the school afterwards.

We are looking for extra parents to give a hand please on Saturday to give out teas and coffees as 4 of our PAC members have children who are celebrating their communion that day.

we would also ask for any donations of cakes, sandwiches, buns, and sweet treats for the celebration. 🍰🧁🥪

The school will be open from 7-8pm Friday the 8th May and from 11am on Saturday morning for drop-offs. All donations — baked or faked — are greatly appreciated.

O’Callaghan’s Mills GAA & Kilkishen Camogie Club are hosting fantastic event for young people, parents and the wider community.

These events aim to support our young people both on and off the field and provide practical guidance for families navigating the challenges facing teenagers today.

Kilkishen National School Parents Association are ready 🛺☘️ 🇮🇪 for Kilkishen's Annual St Patrick's Day parade 🛺☘️🇮🇪 which takes place today Sunday 15th March from the GAA clubhouse from 11:30, come out and line our street to support all our community and sports groups for a great day! 🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪☘️

Kilkishen National School Parents Association has the privilege of being selected for Tesco community fund in
*TESCO SHANNON TOWN CENTRE**
The role of PAC helps to organise and fundraise for school projects, extracurricular activities, equipment, and school supports.

Tesco Customers decide how their local Tesco Community Fund is shared by voting for their preferred cause in store by placing the blue token they receive at the checkout in the donation box of the local good cause they would most like to support.
Then, at the end of the 12 weeks, the number of tokens is counted and up to €1,500 is distributed proportionally between three local good causes. The more tokens a local good cause gets the larger share of the donation they receive.

This is a great opportunity to raise much needed funds for our school. And we would greatly appreciate if you could use your vote for KK National school when you shop in Tesco Shannon
