📣 EXCITING NEWS, KILKENNY! NEW POM DANCE & GAME DAY CHEER SQUAD IS HERE! 📣

​Are you ready to dance, perform, and show off your team spirit? We are thrilled to say we are back after our summer break.
We are a brand-new Sideline Cheer & Pom Dance Squad based right here in Kilkenny! PPS CHEERLEADING KILKENNY!!

​✨ WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT:
Unlike competitive All-Star cheerleading, our club is 100% focused on high-energy pom dance, fun chants, rhythm, and performance! No high-stress competitions or elite stunting—just pure athletic performance, crowd engagement, and fun!

​🏀 PROUDLY SUPPORTING LOCAL SPORTS
We are super excited to be representing our local heroes, the Kilkenny Stars Basketball Club! Our squad will be bringing the ultimate game-day atmosphere to their basketball matches with halftime shows, sideline chants, and energetic pom-pom routines!

PPS Cheerleading Kilkenny is a brand-new sideline cheerleading club, proudly representing the Kilkenny Stars Basketball Club! As our club grows, we have an exciting opportunity for one dedicated coach to join our team and help shape our squads.
If you have a background in dance, love working with youth, and want to be part of a vibrant new sports community in Kilkenny City, we want to hear from you!
💼 The Role & Requirements:
Position: Cheerleading Coach (1 Position Available)

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older

The wait is over! PPS Cheerleading Kilkenny is now enrolling members for our next season. We are a brand-new club, dedicated to bringing dynamic sideline cheer to Kilkenny City, officially representing the Kilkenny Stars Basketball Club! 🏀
Whether you are looking to try something new, build confidence, or meet new friends, we have a place for you!
Classes commence MONDAY, 24th AUGUST at our home, Exquisite Dance Studio (Hebron Industrial Estate, Kilkenny).
MONDAY CLASSES SCHEDULE:
🧡 5:30 PM | Minis (Aged 3-6)
🖤 6:30 PM | PPS Squad (Aged 6-13)
🧡 7:30 PM | Teen Squad (Aged 13+)

Just to kick start it , it will only be a once off two day camp .. if it's a success . Will extend it for a week from 2027 .
A fun filled two days to be had .. location is Xquisite Dance Studio in Hebron Industrial estate,Kilkenny.
2-5pm on both 18th and 19th of July .. yes .. that's right . Mammys and daddy's can get 6 hours you time on a WEEKEND why your kids have loads of fun 🙌 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Pivot Pom Squad (PPS) Cheerleading Club is holding a Free trial run class at Loretto Secondary School! 🧡
Want to learn dynamic pom routines, improve your skills, and make new friends? We are hosting a FREE TRIAL RUN for our new members. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced cheerleader, we are open to all levels!
Age between 5 &13 Come join the fun and see what PPS is all about.

🌊 Catch the Wave! 🌊
​Progress over perfection is the name of the game at Pivot Pom Squad! 🎀✨
​This week, the squad was hard at work mastering their synchronization. We practiced our precision walking and sharp arm motions, and we even took our very first shot at "The Wave." Is it stage-ready yet? Not quite! But that’s the beauty of the journey. Every wobbled arm and slightly-off-beat wave is a step closer to that flawless "Full-Out" performance. We are so incredibly proud of the hustle and heart these athletes are putting in.

🔥 The Ultimate Burn: Wall Squat Challenge! 🔥

​Who knew building leg strength could be this much fun? This week at Pivot Pom Squad, we turned the "dreaded" wall squat into a high-stakes game of focus and coordination! 🎀💪

​The challenge? Hold a perfect 90-degree sit while catching poms mid-air. It’s not just about the burn in the quads—it’s about keeping your head in the game even when your legs are shaking!

​Why the Wall Squat Game?
​Lower Body Power: Building the foundation for high jumps and solid stunts.
​Focus Under Pressure: Training the brain to stay sharp when the body gets tired.
​Core Stability: Engaging everything to stay steady for the catch.

​Watching the girls encourage each other through the "shake" was the highlight of our week. ✨
