🌟A Strong Tradition, A Bright Future at Presentation, Kilkenny🌟
We are delighted to introduce the new Senior Leadership Team at Presentation Secondary School, Kilkenny.
James Thompson joins the team as Deputy Principal, who five years ago introduced Graphics and Technology subjects in our school. His knowledge of the school community, his professional expertise and his commitment to students will be important strengths as he begins this new leadership role.
Ger Murphy has also been appointed Deputy Principal. Ger joins us from Scoil Chríost Rí, Portlaoise, where he taught Guidance, Spanish and Business and acted as Deputy Principal last year. Ger brings a broad range of teaching and senior leadership experience, along with a fresh perspective to our school.
Jennifer Skelton begins her second year as Deputy Principal, having been appointed last year. Jennifer’s leadership, experience and dedication have already made an important contribution to school life, and we look forward to building on that work in the year ahead.
Sandra Campion takes up the role of Principal, having served as Deputy Principal in the school for the past nine years. Sandra combines an extensive knowledge of the school with a proven commitment to the Pres and CEIST ethos, the school’s values and its community. She provides a welcome continuity alongside a clear and positive vision for the future.
Together, this team brings an excellent combination of experience and new ideas, continuity and renewed energy. United by a shared commitment to educational excellence, student wellbeing and the continued development of Pres, Kilkenny, they begin this exciting new chapter with optimism and ambition.
We wish Sandra, Jennifer, Ger and James every success as they lead Presentation Secondary School Kilkenny into the future.
