It is with deep sadness that we learn of the passing of Ann Walsh, beloved wife of former CCS Principal Tom Walsh, who served the school community with distinction from 1981 to 2009.

Ann passed away peacefully today, surrounded by her loving family. Throughout Tom's 28 years of dedicated leadership at CCS, Ann was a constant source of support, kindness and strength. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose warmth and generosity touched all who knew her.

The Board of Management, staff, students, past pupils and the wider CCS community extend their heartfelt sympathies to Tom, their children, grandchildren and all members of the Walsh family at this difficult time.

May Ann rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in the many cherished memories they shared with her.

Coláiste Cois Siúire was proudly represented today by Rachel Coady and Sam Gunnip who were at a KCETB schools podcasting event to capture student’s voices across our 13 schools with respect to their thoughts and ideas on the future of education in Ireland for the National Education Convention. Rachel and Sam contributed thought-provoking ideas for the direction of education in the future. 🎧📻🙌🏼
