River Nore Music Academy Our goal is to foster creativity and confidence in students through fun and engaging music lessons.

River Nore Music Academy offers Piano, keyboard lessons and Pre-instrumental classes. From September 2022 some other instruments, solfeggio and theory classes. Lilian Giber Opacak is the founder and CEO of River Nore Music Academy Kilkenny. She is currently a Piano teacher at the River Nore Music Academy and a Music Tutor in a Primary school in Kilkenny city. . Passion met purpose, as music had

been a large part of Lilian's life since very early age. Music has opened many doors for her in life and it has been a way for her to connect with people in many ways. Bringing 20+ years of teaching experience, Lilian now seeks to continue to expand her knowledge at River Nore Music Academy Kilkenny to help young people of all ages and backgrounds find their rhythm—both in music and in life!

These are the Sea Organ in Zadar, Croatia—a unique architectural instrument that transforms the movement of the waves into music.

As the sea pushes air through a series of hidden pipes beneath the steps, each wave creates a different combination of notes. No performance is ever the same.

It's a beautiful reminder that music is everywhere—even in nature. 🌊✨
At our music school in Kilkenny, we love discovering how music exists all around us—from concert halls to the sound of the sea. 🌊🎶

If I was a parent of a child who was interested in music, but wasn't quite sure where to start, I'd enrol them in a River Nore Music Academy Summer Camp 🎵☀️

Because before investing in weekly lessons or an instrument, they get the chance to explore music in a fun, relaxed environment.

Discover rhythm through movement, coordination, and fun musical activities with our new Body Percussion classes!

📅 Starting: First Thursday in July
🕠 Time: 5:30 PM – 6:15 PM

• €10 per lesson
• €15 for siblings or family members attending together

Body percussion is a fantastic way to develop rhythm, timing, coordination, concentration, and musical confidence - all using the instrument you already have: your body!
