Scoil Réalt na Mara Kilkee Scoil Réalt na Mara is a mixed primary school located in the seaside town of Kilkee, Co.Clare. Welcome to our page.

The purpose of this page is to keep you up to date on school news and events and to reflect a positive image of our school. Any negative, derogatory or defamatory comments will be deleted and the person responsible will be blocked and/or reported. Our school is a co-educational primary school which has deep roots in the community of Kilkee. We strive to achieve success as a Primary School by provi

ding a well-ordered, caring, happy and secure atmosphere where the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs of the pupils are identified and addressed. The children are at the centre of our school and it is our aspiration to:
- develop each child's positive self esteem;
- provide equality of opportunity for all pupils;
- create in the school a climate of caring, respect and tolerance;
- enable our pupils to become good Christians and good citizens;
- develop each pupil's educational abilities;
- have a strong sense of community in the school with a high level of co-operation between parents, teachers, pupils and management.

We hope everyone is having a great summer holiday 😎☀️🌞

In an effort to increase recycling we have many pre loved uniform garments waiting for a new home 👖👕. These uniforms have been donated by our parents and we are very grateful for them. If you wish to avail of some of these please come along and see what might suit on Thursday the 20th between 4 and 6 o’clock 😉

Our final day of our DEIS literacy and numeracy Camp!
With the lovely weather what better way to finish our activities but a trip to beautiful Kilkee Bay.
A míle buíochas to Ms. O’Brien, Ms. Daly, Ms. Tina, Louise, Caroline and Ms. Troy for all the hard work in organising such a stimulating and interesting summer camp. We think that the páistí had a fun time learning lots of interesting stuff.

Day 3 of week 2 of our DEIS Literacy and Numeracy Camp.
Today, the children put their knowledge of verbs, adjectives and nouns to the test and sorted World Cup themed words into the correct category.
Each pupil got to cook their own pizza 🍕 and they tasted delicious 🤤
Construction, penalty shootout and jersey design are proving to be very popular activities with the páistí😊
Well done to the staff for being creative and imaginative when embracing the World Cup theme 🥰
