It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend, mentor and guardian of our school, Gale René Pullen-Foster.
Gale joined our school community in 2002 and became a much-loved teacher, mentor, artist, and friend. Over more than twenty years, she brought warmth, wisdom, creativity, and care to generations of children and families.
She carried the Steiner impulse with great strength and gentleness, helping young people to blossom and discover themselves. Gale was deeply respected and loved by pupils, parents, and colleagues alike.
Beyond the classroom, Gale brought beauty to the world around her — through her art, her love of nature and biodiversity, and the kindness and attention she gave so freely to others.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her curiosity, her appreciation for beauty, and the deep sense of peace and welcome she brought wherever she went.
As we prepare to accompany Gale on her final journey, we share the following arrangements, with all warmly welcome to attend:
Reposing
The Annex Apartment, rear of Newtown House, Grangebeg (W91 C8P7)
Sunday 17th May | 6pm–8pm
Funeral Mass
St. Joseph’s Church
Monday 18th May | 11am
The cremation afterwards will be private.

All are invited to gather afterwards to share food, memories, and companionship together.
In honour of Gale, and to allow our community the space to gather, remember, and attend the service, the school will remain closed on Monday 18th May.
Condolences may also be shared through the online notice at RIP.ie
Rest in peace, Gale. You will remain forever in the hearts of our community.
