Final Book Collections
A notice for the very few 1st, 2nd and 5th years that have not yet collected their books and/or stationery.
A member of staff will be available tomorrow, 3rd September,after school in the meeting room to distribute them. A reminder to 1st and 5th years that you are due to collect 2 boxes and would need to be getting a lift.

Error in Date for Uniform Shop
Good Morning.
I made an error in a recent post when putting up the dates for the uniform shop.
The uniform shop was here yesterday and will NOT be here today.
Apologies for this mistake. I will get onto the uniform suppliers to see if they can drop items to be collected up to the school.
I will share any updates as needed.

Return to School Schedule
The end of the summer holidays is almost upon us!
Please see the attached notice which outlines the return schedule for all our students.
2nd, 3rd, 5th & 6th Years have assemblies and induction sessions on Thursday 27th.
6th Years: 10:15 - 11:30pm
3rd Years: 11 - 12:30pm
5th Years: 11:30 - 1pm
1st Years will start on Monday 31st with an induction day (9 - 1:15pm).
Tuesday September 1st sees a full return with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th & 6th Years having a full day of timetabled classes and TY's having their first induction day.
Information will also be shared via your students yeargroup google classroom.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back and getting the new school year started.

Leaving Certificate Results - Congratulations
Congratulations to all students who have received Leaving Certificate results this morning.
We are very proud of your achievements and hope that you are happy with the results that you have achieved.
A reminder that an email was sent to all parents earlier this week from Ms. McDonnell and Ms. Duffy with really important dates to watch out for with regard to next steps, including viewing of scripts, appeal deadlines, etc.
Please ensure that you check this email carefully, as the deadlines are imposed by the SEC and not the school.
So once again, congratulations to everybody who has received results today in both the Leaving Certificate Established and Leaving Certificate Applied.
Enjoy the celebrations and well done.

FINAL COLLECTION TIMES UNTIL AFTER SEPTEMBER 1st
Thank you to those of you who have called down to the school to collect your books arranged someone else to do it because you are away. It is greatly appreciated.
The school is open to facilitate collection today 2 - 8pm.
The following yeargroups have items to collect:
Incoming 1st Years: Books & Stationary
2nd Years: Books

ALL 5th Years (LCA & LCE): Books and Stationary
If you cannot collect yourself please nominate someone to come and get the books for you as storage is very limited and we need the hall for our return to school assemblies.
Books will not be given to students during the induction days.
Outstanding books will be distributed when time allows during the week following September 1st

Leaving Certificate Results
Good luck to all of our students from the class of 2026 receiving Leaving Certificate results tomorrow morning. Results are available on the Candidate Self Service Portal from 10am.
Please see an important email from Ms McDonnell and Ms Duffy sent to all relevant parents/guardians earlier this week for very important dates - there are SEC deadlines that are strictly adhered to.
Ms McDonnell and Ms Duffy are available tomorrow via email and beyond to offer advice to anyone who needs it.
In addition, the Department of Education and Youth, in partnership with the Institute of Guidance Counsellors (IGC), National Parents Council (NPC) and Irish Second-level Students Union (ISSU), will provide a free National Parents and Students Leaving Certificate Helpline.

The helpline will open on Leaving Certificate Results Day (21 August 2026) and remain available until 2pm on Saturday the 29 August 2026.

• Viewing exam scripts and the appeals process
• CAO applications and offers
• Apprenticeships • Further Education and Training (FET)

A Night of Celebration – 6th Year Debs 2026
What a wonderful evening our 6th Year students had at their Debs in the beautiful Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore, on Wednesday 19th August!
We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them. They looked absolutely stunning and it was wonderful to see so many happy faces, beautiful smiles and plenty of laughter.
The Debs was a fantastic opportunity for our students to celebrate the end of their secondary school journey together and to create some very special memories with their friends.
A huge congratulations to our amazing 6th Year Class of 2026 – we hope you enjoyed every minute of your special night!
You have made us very proud.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Schoolbooks & Stationary Collection
The following yeargroups have items to collect:
Incoming 1st Years: Books & Stationary
2nd Years: Books
ALL 5th Years (LCA & LCE): Books and Stationary
Stationary was already distributed for students who will be in 2nd Year, 3rd Year, TY and 6th Year in September. This was done in May.
If you are collecting for 1st and 5th Years please be advised that the boxes will be heavy.
The school is open to facilitate collection today 9 - 4pm and tomorrow 2 - 8pm.
