**Dare to Sing: SUSO Choral Festival 2026** is coming to Kilcock on **Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October**!

Enjoy workshops in *gospel, pop and rock, musical theatre, contemporary choir, vocal technique, solo singing, songwriting, arranging, community singing and beatboxing* - with some of the most exciting choir directors, vocal coaches and creative facilitators from Ireland and the UK.

This festival is open to singers of *all backgrounds and experience levels*. Come with members of your choir or come by yourself - you’ll be part of the community from the moment you arrive!

🎶 SINGERS WANTED IN ENFIELD AND STRAFFAN — ESPECIALLY MEN! 🎶

Two brilliant community choirs, two different rehearsal nights and a warm welcome waiting for you!

SUSO Enfield Community Choir and Straffan Sings are looking for new members. Everyone is welcome, but we would particularly love to add more men and lower voices to our sound.

You don’t need to be a trained singer.
You don’t need to read music.
There are no auditions.

If you sing in the car, in the shower, at a match or after a few pints, we want to hear from you!

Choose the choir and evening that suits you:

🎤 ENFIELD COMMUNITY CHOIR
📅 Monday nights from 7:30pm
📍 Enfield Community Centre

🎤 STRAFFAN SINGS
📅 Tuesday nights, 7:30–9:00pm
📍 The K Club, Straffan

Both choirs are friendly, welcoming and inclusive, singing a lively mix of contemporary songs in brilliant 3-part harmony. Rehearsals are led by the dynamic duo Ailish Moriarty and Susan O’Brien, with plenty of music, laughter, friendship and opportunities to perform.

🎶 Open to all levels
✅ No audition required

Discounted rates are available for students, retired people, single parents and those on a low income.

And of course more women are very welcome too — but lads, consider this your official invitation! Bring a friend, brother, husband, partner, neighbour or that fella who claims he “can’t sing” but knows every word of every song in the pub.

So sad about Glen Hansard. We got to work with him in 2014, was our first ever gig with the gospel choir and it was amazing. Claire arranged two of his songs and he liked them so much that he got us to record choir for his song Her Mercy for his Didn't he Ramble album, what a privilege. I got to work with him again on some Mic Christopher gigs in Vicar St with Saoirse Marie and it was such a pleasure - he was always so supportive of young musicians. A sad day x

Friends! Next weekend we have so much choir to offer you...

Friday 17th: Catch SUSO Gospel Choir at Swift & Vanessa festival in Celbridge (Christ Church) at 8pm. It's going to be an absolute blast! Tickets from €10-€15, vibes - priceless!

Saturday 18th: Catch our very own Eimear & the Grá Mór Cór Mór at the incredible Hibernacle festival - this brilliant festival is designed by artists for music lovers, no competing stages, no noise bleed, no drama - just brilliant musicians and sound people having a great time, come hang out with us!

Sunday 19th: Catch SUSO Gospel Choir at Hibernacle, they will be bringing all the good vibes, all the joy, all the positivity, and they are sharing the bill with acts like Stocktons Wing, Scullion, Roesy, Roisin El Cherif and Wallis Bird - like what?!!!

Tickets for Hibernacle available online and start from 65 for a day pass or 120 for two days! What a great deal.
