We are hoping to strengthen our existing, awesome team with an additional preschool lead.

We are open to discussing any educational background and working hours, including e.g. Carers. The only requirement is a L7 in an approved early years course.

A little different, we are Wesmeath's only Inclusive Early Intervention setting, so our Preschool Investigators class opens its doors to children of all abilities, on a continuum of support or educational needs. This can be challenging, but extremely rewarding - special education teaches you to be the best teacher possible, and that's what we are striving for.

So important that families understand how the government is treating the early years sector.

I was shocked coming from both the private sector and even dept of education, but hopeful that the NCS and Core would be the little steps needed towards real policy change.

What has actually happened is an emphasis on chasing an election promise (votes) of low fees to families (which is great!), without considering the cost of delivering that service, without allowing services earn enough to survive.

Do more work, at a higher standard, with less staff, increasing costs, but with the same funding as before.

Next time a politician comes knocking on your door, ask them their actual plan for early years.

Short and sweet, we are so privileged to work with your children. This attitude is the foundation to everything you see here.

Following a slow relational pedagogy, your children teach us how to be better educators. Taking the time to notice their interests and developmental stages, they inform our attempts to create beautiful spaces and engaging experiences.

Like what you see/inspired to shine? (reference to the cool music Global Genius Productions !) We are always looking to speak to educators that strive towards excellence...and we have air conditioning 😂😂😂

Bringing it back to the kids: reflecting on the progress our children, those from all walks of life , have made at this time of transition, is one of the most rewarding things in our careers, so thank you

Secondary school students bored? Budding in ?

We have the challenge for you -

While the building changes in response to the kids' play, we have defo found the right use of the giant frame in our village - displaying pics of the students on their travels in their community.

We want to make this a permanent and beautiful display, a mural map of Kilbeggan that always looks great, but that we can add our pics to.

We are doing a summer clean (well, still feels like spring!)

This greenhouse has been with us since tge start, is in great condition but we have some lovely new vertical planters courtesy of Kilbeggan Men's Sheds

Severe behavior change in autism rarely points to "just autism." We made a one-page resource that families can print and bring with them to show providers. It walks through the workup algorithm, introduces a 60-second screen for catatonia, and links to five peer-reviewed studies for clinicians.

The behavior is the symptom. The cause is often elsewhere.
