We are currently recruiting for Early Years Educators & Montessori Teachers in Carlanstown Montessori & Afterschool.

EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR
Requirements:
- Minimum FETAC Level 5 in Childcare Full/Part time positions
- Previous experience in similar role desirable, but not essential.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be knowledgeable in Aistear and Siolta.
- Experience in planning and carrying out age appropriate and
stimulating curriculum.
- Understand and follow TUSLA regulations.
- Support child development – emotional, social, physical and
cognitive.

MONTESSORI TEACHER
Requirements:
- Hold qualification in Montessori Teaching Minimun Level 6
- Have a love for the Montessori method with previous experience
desirable.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be knowledgeable in Aistear and Siolta.
- Experience in planning and carrying out age appropriate and
stimulating curriculum.
- Understand and follow TUSLA regulations.
- Support child development – emotional, social, physical and
cognitive.

All funds raised will go back to the community, towards the Deerpark Development.

A huge thank you to an amazing young woman, Emma Monaghan, who got the ball rolling only 2 days ago, she knew how much I wanted to do something in Cian’s memory, especially as we mark 10 years on the 5th of October since his passing. This means so much to me. Thanks also to Emma’s Father, Jodi, for the idea of a tractor run and for his support in organising it in such a short amount of time. I've no doubt it will be a huge success.

We would love if everyone in Carlanstown and the surrounding areas could share this and help spread the word. Your support means so much, and we hope to see you on the day. It will be a celebration of Cian, our precious boy, even though he is no longer with us, he is still bringing people together ❤️

Calling on the community of Carlanstown–
We are organizing a peaceful protest this Friday 20th June at 3:05PM (after school) opposite Centra to raise awareness about serious road safety concerns in our village. Our pleas to the council have fallen on deaf ears for far too long. We are calling for immediate action from Meath County Council & Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) before there is a fatality in the village.

The safety of our children is our top priority. We invite all children and families to take part — and we encourage children to create posters with messages like:
🖍️ “Save Our Children”
🖍️ “Slow Down”
🖍️ “Our lives matter
🖍️ “Speed kills

We realise the time may not suit everyone, we are hoping it suits the majority with school finished at 3.
Let’s stand together for a safer Carlanstown. Your presence matters.
