Boyne Babies At Boyne Babies, we create magical multi-sensory adventures for little ones. Each week brings a new exciting theme.

Join us Wednesdays for our Baby Class (0-13 months) or on Mondays for our Toddler Class (10m-2 yrs) in the Julianstown Community Centre ✨️

Our 5-Week Winter Term for Boyne Babies (0-13 months) is now open for booking!✨

Experience a gentle sensory world filled with music, lights, bubbles, and beautiful moments of connection.

✨ What’s Included:

• Developmental Play: Tummy time, gentle movement, and sensory exploration.

• Bonding Time: A warm, welcoming space for you and your baby.

• Grand Finale: A special, extended 1.5-hour Christmas class (14th/16th Dec) featuring festive sensory play, holiday music, twinkling lights, and a beautiful keepsake to take home!

📍 Location: Julianstown Community Centre (A92 D250)

⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Christmas week is 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM)

When we started Boyne Babies a year ago, we wanted to create a space where babies could explore at their own pace, play and grow alongside their parents.

But one of the loveliest parts of this first year has been watching the connections grow between the grown ups too. The familiar faces each week, the chats over coffee, the shared experiences, the friendships that continue long after class has finished. (Most often in The Barn at Bettystown House we hear! 😅)

Because sometimes getting out of the house, having somewhere to go and being around people who just get it can mean so much.

To every parent, grandparent and caregiver who has been part of our first year, thank you for helping us create the community we always hoped Boyne Babies could be.

The little boys behind Boyne Babies.

One whole year. We genuinely can’t believe it. 🥹

When we first started Boyne Babies, these two little boys were still babies themselves. Senán was just beginning to crawl, and James hadn’t quite figured out how to get moving yet. Our class set ups looked a little different back then. Bottles to be made, nappies to be changed and naps squeezed in between setting up and cleaning away.

Behind the scenes, we were navigating it all too. The sleepless nights, the early mornings, the ever changing nap routines and everything that comes with that first year of motherhood. All while trying to figure out how to build a little business that could offer other families something we needed ourselves. Connection, friendship and a community to lean on through that first year.

Because we were living it right alongside the mammies walking through our doors. ✨

Fast forward a year, and those two little babies are now busy, curious toddlers, running around the hall and keeping us on our toes! 😂 But it’s not just the boys who have grown.

We’ve grown too.

As mammies, as friends, as people and as two women who decided to give a little idea a go. There have been plenty of laughs, moments of doubt, stressful mornings and lots of figuring things out along the way.

And while we’ve been busy watching all the little ones who come through our doors grow, it’s lovely to look back and realise just how much has changed for our own boys too.

Boyne Babies has grown up alongside our babies, and that makes this first birthday even more special.

Here’s to Senán and James, the two little boys who started it all. 🩵🩵

So much happens in a baby’s first year.

We watch for the first smile, the first roll, sitting, crawling, first foods, first words, first steps… but somewhere amongst all those firsts, you’re changing too. Becoming a mam can be beautiful and overwhelming. You can feel completely in love with this little person while also missing the freedom, confidence or version of yourself you had before.

You can be grateful and exhausted.
Happy and overwhelmed.
Confident one day and questioning absolutely everything the next. There’s no contradiction in that. There’s just a lot happening in that first year, for both of you.

At Boyne Babies, we love watching your babies grow from week to week. But the chats before class, the coffees, the familiar faces and the little “mine does that too!” moments matter just as much to us.

Because sometimes you don’t need advice. Sometimes you just need to be around people who are in it too.

So, if you’re in your first year of motherhood right now…

Come for the play, stay for the community.

When we started Boyne Babies, of course we wanted to create a space where babies and toddlers could explore, play, get messy and learn at their own pace. But we wanted it to be more than that too. We wanted to give a reason to get out of the house, a familiar face when you walk through the door, a cuppa and a chat with someone who gets it, a place where nobody minds if your baby cries, needs feeding, needs a cuddle, or your toddler simply isn’t feeling it that day.

And thankfully, somewhere along the way, our little village has started to form. Because the play might be what brings us together… but the community is what we hope you stay for.
