🌟 Ossory Youth Information Day – Urlingford Library 🌟
If you’re a young person in the area or you know someone who could do with a bit of extra support, drop into Urlingford Library on Tuesday, 10th March for our Youth Information Day.
Come along for a chat, a cuppa, and a chance to meet the friendly, team from Ossory Youth and the Local Youth Project.

🕒 Drop‑in times:
• 10:30am–11:30am
• 2:30pm–4:30pm
• 5pm–7pm

Whether you’re curious about what’s available, looking for support, or just want to see what youth work is all about, you’re very welcome. No pressure, no appointments, just a safe space to connect and learn what’s out there for young people in our community.

Ossory Youth is a youth work organisation working with young people within the Diocese of Ossory. We are setting up a new youth project in Urlingford and Johnstown. We will provide groups Monday to Friday for young people aged 10 to 24 years old. We’ll have a safe and fun space with free activities, where young people can hang out and try out and explore their interests. We will be based beside the Urlingford Community Childcare Centre and St. Kieran’s Hall, Johnstown. 🚗💨 Beep Beep Day Fun! 🚦💛

What a great week we had celebrating Beep Beep Day at playschool! 😄

We popped on our visibility jackets and went for a walk to the traffic lights 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ stopping, looking, and listening like road safety superstars! Everyone crossed the road so carefully that we all earned our Beep Beep Day certificates for safe crossing! 🥳👏

Back in class, we had a blast playing traffic light games using red, yellow, and green — go, slow, stop! ❤️💛💚 Then it was time to get crafty with glue, coloured paper, and imagination to make our very own traffic lights! 🎨✂️

The highlight of the day was a special visit from our friendly Garda 👮‍♂️ who showed us his cool equipment and let us peek inside his police car! 🚓✨ Even Lisa got in on the fun, dressing up in uniform too! 😍

We learned so much about being safe near roads — and had loads of giggles along the way! 💕
