Greystones Sailing Club offers exciting and enjoyable dinghy racing for all ages and abilities in a variety of dinghy classes. Over the years, it's sailors have competed successfully in many open events at both national and international levels. The Club itself has also hosted several major sailing events including National and International Championships. With the new harbour facilities currently under construction in Greystones, the Club now looks forward to expanding our activities and welcoming keel boat members when the facilities are in place.

Greystones sailing club are delighted to Welcome once more World renowned marine and wild life photographer Rick Tomlinson

World-renowned marine and wildlife photographer Rick Tomlinson brings nearly four decades of extreme ocean documentation and storytelling to Greystones Sailing Club. His distinguished career spans four Whitbread Round the World Races and expeditions across the Arctic and Antarctic.

From our friends in the Whale:

Hi! I’m getting in touch as we have just a few tables remaining for The Whale Theatre Gala Dinner at Powerscourt Hotel on Saturday, 10th October, and I wondered if it might be something you’d consider for your team, clients or colleagues.

It’s going to be a fantastic night. Al Porter will be our MC, with acclaimed Love/Hate and Line of Duty director David Caffrey and our newest Whale patron, Sue Collins of The DirtBirds and The Nualas, joining us as special guests.

There’ll be a drinks reception, a gorgeous three-course dinner with wines, live music from The Swing Cats, our Golden Ticket Raffle and a brilliant auction featuring luxury breaks, some very special experiences and even the chance to take to the skies!

Most importantly, the evening supports The Whale Theatre — Greystones’ community-led, not-for-profit theatre — and helps us continue bringing theatre, comedy, music and the arts to the local community.

A table of 10 is €1,500 (€150 per person).

It’s a great opportunity to treat your team or entertain clients while supporting something really special in the local community.

A busy weekend of Trophy hauling for GSC. Well done all our Junior sailors in completing the Junior Sunday series. Congratulations to Darcy Maguire and Óisin Brennan 1st in the RS trophy and Ronan and Julia Donnelly 1st in the Brian Emerson sundry trophy.

Our traveling RS sailors went to Killaloe and came back with 1st Junior Sean Hanley, Travelers trophy Sean and Cian Hanley. 2nd in the RS400 Sean and Analise Cleary and 1st master Frank O’Rourke.

Fantastic results all round. Gowan the Stones 💪

Saturday 8th August saw a full house for our Annual Summer Party, following a gusty afternoon out on the water!

A huge thank you to Martina Sheerin for the fabulous catering, and to our brilliant in-house DJ for keeping the tunes going 🎶💃🕺

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who bought tickets, came along and helped make it such a fantastic family-friendly event — your support means so much to our club. ❤️
