We still don’t quite know how we ended up here but, here’s the recap 🚩
It was such a pleasure and welcome change of weather to race out of who ran maybe the best regatta we’ve ever seen. Although we could’ve done with a bit more breeze.
As expected the level of competition was insanely high, and despite a strong start with a win on day 01 we just couldn’t come out on top against such skilled opponents. We finished up with 2 hard fought wins overall so we didn’t feel like complete failures 🫡
We put the work in on and off the water 🍻 achieving the highly regarded Chet Purcell Sportsmanship Award, voted on by all sailors and race officials 🤝 (we reckon racing in hawaiian shirts won it)
Overall a fantastic experience, thank you to everyone who made it happen, to our brilliant host, A Train .chaumont for the hospitality, our sponsors for the sweet crew gear, and as always Frank Whelan.
