3rd year students went to the zoo to complete a habitat study yesterday. ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ’

They used a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to survey the habitat. They also got to explore the zoo and learn about species in habitats beyond our shores.

The students showed their knowledge and put it into practice. An impressive crew to spend the day with. ๐Ÿƒ

๐Ÿ‘ Hockey Double Header! ๐Ÿ‘

Yesterday, both our Junior and Senior hockey teams took on Loreto Bray!

Our Junior team came away with a fantastic 4โ€“3 win! ๐Ÿ™Œ The girls played so well, with so much energy on the pitch, amazing teamwork and some brilliant hockey throughout. A massive well done to Doireann, Laila, Honour and Caoilinn for getting on the scoresheet! ๐Ÿ‘

Our Senior team faced some pretty cold and wet conditions and unfortunately came away with a 0โ€“1 loss. However, the score definitely didnโ€™t reflect how well the girls played. There were so many great passes, really strong teamwork and some brilliant hockey throughout the match. The girls put so much into the game and it was a really close contest right until the end.

A huge well done to both teams on two great performances! ๐Ÿ‘‘
