What hand signals do you use when riding in a group, and what do they mean? The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) has put together several to help make group rides more efficient.

Hello everyone. Our website needed some updates, corrections and “ New Prices”. The appearance is still a work in progress but we believe the quality and experience in the delivery of the IBT program, is more important than breath taking website looks. Our passing rate is one the highest in the country. County Sligo has the second highest passing rate for motorcycle full license tests in Ireland. And we honestly believe that our school has a lot to do with it. Mostly because of our dedication and the decency on delivering at least the minimum required time by the Road Safety Authority. We treat every pupil with the proper respect he or she deserves with regard to their personal knowledge, physical abilities and rate of learning. So if you would like knowledge, skills and experience that will last for life, give us a call. We may not be the least expensive but we are one of best in the country. Ride safe !

Hello everyone. This is the time of the year, honestly to say the least, that I must be grateful for all the pupils, our modest motorcycle training school, had in 2014. I am proud of each and every one of them. And I would like to wish the hundreds of students, I've had since 2008, a wonderful Christmas celebration on this 25th of December 2014. May your next year be fruitful and healthy; and I wish all of you wonderful moments, breath taking views, on your motorcycles. Cheers !

Hello everyone. It's been a while since my last note. Even though I love what I do and my hobby, sometimes doing the simplest things in life can be just as rewarding and invigorating. I had today the privilege to meet a fantastic local grou
p called the " North Sligo Community Walking Group". This group organizes Scenic walks around North Sligo and the experience is nothing less then wonderful. Today the weather was perfect for it and the views from the base of Benbulben mountain were breath taking. Please check the photos. I hope they can do some justice. Thank you.

Hello everyone. As the weather changes and temperatures drop. The game plan changes but it is not, by any means, game over. Due to recent events, along with a long seisiun of Tap and Dance with the RSA ( license renewal time), I was unable to make any plans for a weekend ride. And I certainly would like to coodenate something before the days are too short and cold to go anywhere. For those of you in the U.S. , short days in Ireland means 4 hours of day light. Because of the amount of rainy days we have, it is hard for me to plan anything more than a week in advance. If so.
Therefore rides, sometimes, are amounced at a short notice, whenever we have a two day break in the weather forecast. So please keep the faith . As soon as we have a dry weekend, I'll get the bull horn.

I hope this is not too late for me to say. Marie Casserly is a "Champion" for Coordinating such a great event. She deserves my utmost respect and gratitude for including me and my group in the festivities. She may seem unbreakable but she is human after all. I hope she will take the time for a well deserved rest.

I'm afraid I forgot to mention and thank a person that was very instrumental for the success of our parade. Somehow I suspect he does not use Facebook . That person is Garda Pat Gallagher, who did a fantastic job on the police es**rt. Thank you Sir very much for your help.
