GRETB Further Education and Training Centre Dunmore are hosting an Open Day on Friday afternoon the 11th of March from 1pm – 6 pm. The I Radio team will be there on the day.

This year brings exciting innovation to Dunmore as the centre launches a range of full-time courses across a variety of disciplines including QQI certified - Pre-Nursing Studies, Childcare, Technology, Sports and Leisure. These courses create a route to employment or an alternative route to third-level education. Earn while you learn: these are Traineeships with a training allowance payable to eligible participants.

• Work placement under the supervision of qualified staff in a childcare setting.
• Support day to day activities in a childcare setting.
• Planning and preparation of activities for children.
• Supporting children’s interaction in planned activities.
• Working with a team to provide play activities.
• Attend meetings and training options to achieve qualifications in the sector.
• Required sterilising and cleaning for a safe environment.
