Student Testimony 💪💪
My name is Seb, I'm 22 years old and a past student at Gorey Training Initiative.
I began the course right after finishing secondary school, and it changed my perspective on the educational system entirely, in the most positive way.
I never enjoyed education and always found school difficult, and all of that changed under the guidance of Matt, Kate ,Jennie and the team at GTI.
I grew a ton of confidence and began studying something I truly enjoyed. The style of teaching was incredible and you could tell the tutors simply wanted you to get the most out of the experience.
If I could, I'd go back and do it all over again. The tutors put in so much extra time to make sure you feel heard and satisfied and its a treasure to have such an amazing environment locally.

After graduating I began working in a Leisure Centre as a Fitness Instructor, Lifeguard and Swim Teacher, which I thoroughly enjoy.
Without the course it would not have been possible to gather the knowledge I have now and transfer it into my employment, which I am incredibly grateful for. On top of that I began fighting, as we had trained MMA with the course which got me hooked.
Since then I have flown over and fought in Thailand, and have also had a total of 3 professional fights (so far). All of these incredible moments stemmed from the effort and environment that was provided to me by GTI and I could not be more satisfied with how my time at the Training Initiative went!

I'd recommend this course to absolutely anybody in all honesty, especially those who didn't enjoy the traditional school system as it completely reignited my joy and interest in education and studies.

Can you add in about his mma and his education experience and make it into a testimonial poster please

Student Testimony:

Hey what's up, my name is Stephen and I have just finished my level 5 Gym Instructor course and ITEC qualification. I am 36 years old and a professional fighter.
As I am coming to the end of my fighting career I decide to go back to education. I have always been in a gym environment, it's where I am happiest.
So I decided to become a gym instructor so I could work at a place I love being. I'm so glad I used Gorey Training Initiative to get my qualifications.
The college has a great friendly atmosphere, positive vibes from everyone.
The teachers Matt, Lisa, Kate and Jennie always went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything.
The course manager Mandy was always on hand if I ever needed anything. I am truly grateful for my time in Gorey Training Initiative, I am now moving on to Wexford to continue my journey with Personal Training and also Sports Massage.

⭐ STUDENT TESTIMONIAL ⭐

“My time at Gorey Training Initiative was amazing.

After school, I went on to do a Level 5 course in a bigger institute, but it was a totally different experience. The classes were bigger, the work felt more complicated and the tutors didn’t have the same time to support each student. Sometimes, I felt like I was just another number.

When I heard about Gorey Training Initiative, I jumped at the chance. The smaller classroom environment made a huge difference. It was much more focused on the students and, as someone with learning difficulties, it was exactly what I needed.

Matt and Kate were always there to lend a hand. They helped me with my projects, but they also made sure I was learning how to do things for myself. That gave me confidence and showed me I could do difficult things — sometimes, you just need a bit of guidance.

Gorey Training Initiative isn’t just about assignments or qualifications either. You become part of a group where everyone looks out for each other. Between the gym days, trips and team-building activities, I made some great memories and friends.

I’m now in full-time employment. Even though I didn’t end up working in the fitness industry, that’s not really what the course was about for me.

For me, it was about building my confidence, becoming more resilient and learning that hard times happen, but you keep moving forward.

I left Gorey Training Initiative believing in myself more than when I started — and if they’d have me back, I’d 100% do it all over again.”

My name is Nathan Finn and I joined this course in 2022 and just leaving school. I had little to no motivation and no confidence. This course helped me a lot on the fitness side and helping build my confidence and building motivation.

After completing gorey training initiative I felt I was ready and motivated for the next challenge so I decided to go and do a 4 year degree in sport and exercise science in SETU Carlow. I have just recently completed my 1st year of this and I’m super excited to be going back for my 2nd year. I would have never had the confidence or motivation to even consider doing a degree but I’m forever grateful for gorey training initiative for opening the doors to me and helping me build the person I am today. Thank you to gorey training initiative.

Well done
