We have had such a wonderfully busy and exciting start to 2026 here at Little Ducklings.

The children had a very special visit from the Gardaí, who came out to speak to the children about the important work they do for our community. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn about safety, helping others and the role the Gardaí play in keeping us all safe. A big thanks to Leisha for organising the visit.

We have also been busy learning about Spring. The classroom has been filled with conversations about new life, growth and the changes we see happening in the world around us. A particularly exciting moment is when Mr. Chips the adorable baby goat came to
show himself off. The children loved seeing him up close. It brought spring learning to life in a magical way. Thank you to Sandra Hennessy for organising the visit.

What a magical morning we had. All the children were amazing and we had a wonderful concert. Thank you all for your wonderful support and we wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a peaceful new year🎄🎅. Here are a few pictures from a wonderful month that we had.

We’re so excited to say that the wait is finally over, we’re officially opening our hatch on Saturday 22nd November!

Since sharing the news about our little venture, we’ve been absolutely blown away by the excitement, encouragement and kind words from everyone in the village and beyond. Your support means the world to us ❤️

We can’t wait to welcome you all, serve some great coffee, see some friendly faces and have the chats. Not long now, see you all soon at Caffeinated ☕️

We have been working hard and making fantastic memories ♥️. We had some science experiments to investigate for National Science Week some went great others not so good 😂and we had an amazing visit from the fire brigade. All the children got to use the hose and had great chats to the firemen Thanks to Cian’s daddy for the visit.
