A massive thank you to all who turned up to our Open Day today. It was fantastic to meet old friends and new and we look forward to welcoming you all as students in September 2026. A massive thank you to all our student ambassadors who did an outstanding job today, from welcoming everyone, to giving great advice, giving their real life experience of our courses and giving centre tours. Join us for our Open Day on Thursday 14th of May from 10 am to 1 pm. Not only will you meet our staff (GIFE), you will also get to meet the staff from the other programmes in our Centre. So, whether you are interested in coming back to education for the first time or would like to start something new, we would be delighted to see you.

On the day there will be representatives from Adult Literacy (providing literacy classes), Back to Education Initiative (BTEI) (providing part time courses), VTOS (offering full time courses to those who are over 21 years of age, unemployed and have been getting certain social welfare payments for at least 6 months), ESOL (providing English Language Classes), Community Education (providing part time classes both in centre and in the community and ourselves, GIFE (full time courses).

Congratulations to our ATI Course Director, Mary-Ann O’Rourke, who was awarded the ATI Co-Ordinator of the Year by her 2nd year students and signed by our Taoiseach Micheál Martin. Congratulations Mary-Ann, 👏👏 we are delighted that all of your hard work, dedication, encouragement and unwavering belief in all your students has been recognised. 🎉🎉 Congratulations on this magnificent award and achievement. A special thank you to all her 2nd year students for organising this award, especially Ian Murphy who organised the signature with our Taoiseach, Micheál Martin. We are very proud of you and your amazing students 👏👏

👏 A massive thank you to our two fantastic ATI ambassadors, Sylwia and Kasia who spoke with VTOS Level 5 students today about the Accounting Technician course. 📊

They shared great advice on work experience 💼, course subjects 📖, study tips ✏️ and the many opportunities the course has given them. 🌟

Many thanks also to all the VTOS students who attended and to their teacher Gerry for welcoming us into the class and accommodating our visit. 🙌
