Pupils from 3rd to 6th class had a fantastic time at their Senior Sports Day — and not even the weather could dampen the mood 🌧️
The day was packed with activities, including yoga, boxercise, a HIIT class, dance lessons, an obstacle course, and a very energetic skipathon. In their World Cup teams, the mixed groups enjoyed competing in soccer, tag rugby, hockey, and football rounders. Lots of laughs were had during the tug of war, before the much-anticipated staff vs 6th class showdown.👀
A huge thank you to all the staff who helped facilitate and lead each of the stations and made the event run so smoothly! 👏😊

☀️ 6th Class School Tour ☀️
Our 6th Class had a fantastic day in Westport enjoying all the activities at Westport Adventure.
From rock climbing and the Net Park to the Game Centre and Foot Golf, there was plenty of fun and excitement throughout the day.
We also enjoyed a visit to Westport House on the train and were lucky to have sunshine from start to finish. 🌞
Third Class enjoyed their school tour to Wildlands Adventure Park last Friday 🌞
They were very lucky with the weather, with the sun shining throughout the day. The pupils enjoyed ziplining, taking on the ninja course, and trying out disc golf.
After a picnic lunch outdoors, there was plenty of time to enjoy the playground too. Everyone had a brilliant day! 💚
Second Class had a fantastic day on their school tour to Galway Aquarium! 🐠🌊
The students enjoyed exploring the aquarium and learning about all the amazing sea creatures. They spotted a variety of fish, rays, starfish, and other fascinating marine life while discovering more about our coastal environment. 🦈⭐🐟
After their visit, the fun continued with a trip to the bowling alley where there were plenty of strikes, spares, and smiles all around! 🎳😄

Last week, our 5th and 6th class pupils took part in the Father Reilly Cup in both Gaelic Football and Hurling. A huge thank you to our neighbours Castlegar N.S. for hosting such a fantastic day. Well done to all the pupils who took part, and a special congratulations to our hurling team who brought home some silverware! A brilliant day of sport shared with our neighbouring schools.
