2019 Meeting - Galway SIAM Student Chapter Registration is now open. You can register for talk/poster submission until the 8th of November and to attend until the 15th of November. Register for free with the registration form.

Emails have been sent out to anyone who has registered for our December conference. If you registered and haven't received an email please let us know.

Submissions for talks have now closed but we are still accepting poster submissions and you can still register to attend.

Good news: Since we won't have time to go through submissions until Thursday we've decided to leave the registration form open until Wednesday night for anyone who missed the deadline to submit an abstract.

Our Chapter President Paul Greaney is representing the chapter at the SIAM Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh this week, speaking about his PhD research and networking with other Chapter representatives from around the world. The NUI Galway Student Chapter hosted the Sixth 'National' Student Chapter Conference of the UKIE Section of SIAM on Friday 26 May 2017. Representatives from throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom, and further afield travelled to Galway to present talks and posters. The plenary speakers were Dr Léa Deleris from IBM Research Dublin, and Prof. Patrick Farrell, Associate Professor of Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing at the University of Oxford.
