Galway Comhaltas is delighted to introduce Cuimsiú, an inclusive initiative at Fleadh Cheoil na Gaillimhe designed for performers with an additional need or disability.

What is Cuimsiú?
Cuimsiú provides a flexible, joyful space for participation in both competition and informal music sessions. Our goal is to ensure that every musician and singer, regardless of ability, feels supported and valued.

Pop into Súil Eile Space on Saturday 15th March to play a few tunes, sing a song, or get yourself a cup of tea or coffee and listen to the music at our open session.

This is an Irish language event and people every level of Irish are welcome!

Our new music term is starting on Monday 16th September. Classes available in concertina, fiddle, tin whistle, uilleann pipes, guitar, box accordion, banjo, harp, mandolin and guitar. Best of luck to all the Salthill/Knocknacarra competitors in the Galway Fleadh in Claregalway next weekend, 18th/19th May.

A great weekend lies ahead from the 17 -19 May for Fleadh Cheoil na Gaillimhe in Claregalway, hosted by Lackagh Comhaltas

A new term of Comhaltas music classes is starting on 18th September. Classes will be on Monday evenings in Gaelscoil Mhic Amhlaigh. They're open to children over six years of age and adults, and are available on all traditional instruments.
