The annual Scoil Éinde Yard Sale is TOMORROW, Friday 12th June!

We’re so excited for the big day and hope to see as many of you there as possible — parents, grandparents, teenagers, all welcome! 🎉🤝

📢 A few things to note for tomorrow:

👕 It’s a NON-UNIFORM DAY for the boys!

💰 Change and coins are best on the day, so worth raiding the piggy bank tonight!

🧁 Baked goods can be dropped to the table just inside the hall during school drop-off tomorrow morning.

Big news for Scoil Éinde last week as we were awarded a Green Flag for Sustainable Travel to school! 🚲🚶‍♂️ 🚌 🛴💚

It was a huge effort from the boys (especially the Green Council) and of course the parents! This wouldn’t have happened without your support! 🙏

We were delighted to welcome Mayor of Galway, Cllr Mike Cubbard, Lorraine Farrell (Green Schools Coordinator) and Fergal Cushen (Environmental Awareness Officer) to the school last week where we hoisted our new flag and together we planted some wildflowers in our school garden! 🪴🌷🌺🪻🌸

Our Annual Fun Run takes place tomorrow at 11:00!🏃‍♂️

The boys will start at the bus stop across from the school and run up Dr. Mannix Road where they’ll turn left and run down Threadneedle Rd! At the bottom, they’ll turn left towards Leisureland until they reach Coco Cafe where they’ll turn left and run up Dalysfort Road! At the bottom, they’ll turn left again back towards the finish line at the school’s traffic lights!🚦🏁

Come down and support the boys if you’re in the area! 🙌🏻 🥳

🛬🇫🇷🇮🇪 Erasmus Trip! 🇫🇷🇮🇪🛫

Mr. Leonard went on an Erasmus trip to Nantes in France with a group of teachers from Ireland on the 5/5/26 -8/5/26.

During his trip, he observed how modern foreign languages and SEN were taught in both primary and middle school settings.

📍The school he visited was ECOLE ELEMENTAIRE PUBLIQUE Mutualite -La- NANTES. While there, he got to observe lessons in both French and English and participate in group work with the children. 🗣

🏰 Mr. Leonard was also afforded time to explore the culture and history of Nantes and sample some local delights. He found it to be a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience! 🇪🇺✨

Lovely day for a bit of footie with Coach Martin from who has been instrumental in improving and encouraging the lads at soccer this year! 👏🏻

The sessions have been running every Wednesday since Sept and the boys adore their slots! It’s been amazing to see their skills, confidence and understanding of the beautiful game grow week after week! 💪🏻 📈

From teamwork to technique, every session has made a positive impact - and the smiles say it all! 😃💙⚽️

Our Communion Class of 2026! 😇🙏🤲

From the first song to the final blessing, the boys were amazing. They sang their hearts out, read so confidently, and were all so well behaved throughout the whole ceremony. Hard to believe that there were only 20 boys singing - it sounded and felt like a full choir present! 🎵🎤 👏🏻

They were a real credit to themselves, their families, and the school — and they did us all immensely proud. 🥹

Well done boys - absolute superstars! 🌟

We were delighted to welcome representatives from today. 🐶🐕🙏

Students in 3rd and 4th class learned all about how to properly care for dogs. ⛑️❤️

They covered important topics such as how to safely approach a dog and the basics responsibilities of owning a pet - from feeding them to exercising them and even picking up their 💩🤭!

The students really enjoyed the workshop and gained a better understanding of kindness and respect towards animals! 🫶
