Not just for school drop offs ☀️
Myself and some girlfriends got away to the sun for a few days ☀️🎉 Before we went, a few of us used A Little Link to explain to our kids we’d be away for a little while.
“When your Little Link fades, I’ll be back.”
It turned a big, abstract “Mum’s going away” into something small and manageable.
If you’re heading away and know it might feel big for them, this can really help 💛
PS book the trip 👯♀️☀️🍻

With spring finally in the air, it felt like the right time for a little re-introduction 🌸
I created A Little Link for my daughter. She loved school when she was there, but drop-offs felt overwhelming for her and her fear was very real. Around us, I saw so many other children struggling in the same way.
Every morning before drop-off, I’d draw a heart on her hand and one on mine. A small reminder that she wasn’t alone, even when we were apart.
That simple ritual became A Little Link. Temporary tattoos created as a visual reminder of connection, to support children through separation anxiety and big feelings.
After a few months, I could see the change.
She grew more confident going in. Other people could drop her off. We didn’t need it every day anymore, which was always the goal.
Now she knows when to ask for one. On nervous mornings, wobbly days, or when something feels a bit too big. And for me, there’s comfort too, knowing I have a familiar way to support her when those moments pop up.
That’s what A Little Link is.
A gentle reminder of connection, created for children and parents, until children learn to carry that reassurance within themselves 💛

This morning caught me completely off guard.
This little guy has always struggled with creche drop-offs but would never, ever try A Little Link. He was uninterested, unimpressed and very clear about it 😅
After months of watching me work through big feelings with his sister, something clicked for him today.
He asked for every link, covered his hands, and headed into creche full of confidence.
Sometimes the learning happens quietly, in the background. Small, consistent moments are doing more than we think 💛
A slightly off-the-cuff (and very late) intro to our kits 🙃
One of our lovely customers emailed this morning asking how to apply A Little Link, so I figured no time like the present.
I created these kits after years of seeing my daughter struggle with school drop-offs. After a few months of using them, I can honestly say they’ve helped us so much. Things feel calmer, and on harder days she knows she can ask to do one, which has made a huge difference for us.
Link in the bio if you’d like to explore the rest of the kits 🤍

January jitters 🤍
After a few blissful weeks of extra family time, cosy lazy mornings, and (let’s be honest) very little routine, it’s completely normal for January jitters to creep in. That first grey Monday and early wake-up can feel like a big shock to little systems.
✨ here are some gentle ways to help them feel ready this weekend:
• Try an early rise tomorrow morning and plan a nice early outing so Monday isn’t such a shock!
• Walk or drive past the school and wave hello. Try some positive chit-chat: “I wonder what your friends got for Christmas? I bet they’re so excited to see you.”
• Use simple visuals to show Now – Next – Then. A quick doodle works perfectly: “First you’ll go to school. Next you’ll play and learn. Then we’ll come home to a nice hot chocolate”
• Read your A Little Link connection card together and pop on the tattoos the night before. This is a gentle way to open up conversations about feelings, uncover worries, and help those jitters feel smaller
Connection first. Confidence follows 🤍

Socials? Haven’t seen her.
Between work, Christmas prep, and ALL the school concerts, I’m in survival mode 🎄😅
Sending love to every parent juggling it all 🤍
We ship with An Post and they are under pressure (like us all) so get those stocking fillers ordered before the end of the week ✨

✨ Christmas nights out are coming…
And a little prep can make those babysitter evenings feel smoother for everyone.
Each Little Link kit gives you a small, predictable ritual to do together before you leave a few minutes of calm that help your child feel safe and connected.
Here’s what happens:
💛 You both press on your matching tattoos
💛 You read the short, child-friendly poem together
💛 You practise the calming technique on the card
💛 And you talk about how the tattoos “keep you linked” while you’re gone
So you can enjoy your night, and they can settle with confidence knowing they’re still connected to you.

Let’s help them fly by giving them the support they need to take off.
Every child grows at their own pace, in their own way, and what they need most is to feel held, understood and supported.
When they feel secure, they soar. ✨
