Had a blast at this month's cultural day which was all about Austria 🇦🇹
We are an English language school located in the heart of Galway city on the West coast of Ireland.
Galway Language Centre is a small, family-run, adult English language school, established in 1987. Our school is located in a beautiful, renovated 18th century mill overlooking the River Corrib in the centre of Galway City, the cultural capital of the West Coast of Ireland. We can offer host family accommodation where you will live as a guest with an Irish family. Getting to know Irish culture and way of life will be an enriching part of your English language experience here in Galway.

We are pleased to announce a free event for language schools and those working in language education, to learn about inclusive schooling and supporting LGBTQ+ students in the language classroom.
This event will provide a professional development opportunity for teaching staff, sharing practical strategies and lesson ideas for promoting inclusion.
The workshop will analyse existing published materials that may be useful for inclusion and recognition of varying identities in the language learning classroom, and explore small changes teachers can make in their classroom practice and materials development to ensure their classrooms are truly inclusive spaces.
To register for this free event, email your name, school details and contact details to Julie Cuttance at [email protected] by Thursday 12th February 2026.
