📢 Free Community Event in Galway | Beyond the Labels: A Cross-Cultural Forum on Community Participation and Social Cohesion.

The Forum will bring together Ukrainian, wider migrant and local Irish communities alongside public bodies, community organisations, academia, businesses and civic leaders for dialogue, cultural connection, networking and practical action.

The day will include a panel discussion, Ukrainian cultural celebration and lunch, the Tree of Belonging, and facilitated Community Dialogue Circles.

The event is organised by Women for Integration and Wellbeing (WIW), together with the University of Galway and Galway City Partnership, with the support of Community Foundation Ireland.

Everyone interested in building stronger, more connected and inclusive communities is warmly welcome.

Are you fluent in Irish? 🇮🇪

The National Maritime Museum of Ireland is looking for an audioguide to bring more accessibility to the Museum and to promote the Irish language. You would be translating and recording 14 tracks of around 2 to 4 minutes each.

🎤You will need your own laptop and potentially a microphone. The museum will help you with setting up the software to have a good enough sound while recording.

🍴Take part in COPE Galway's Community Catering kitchen, Meals4Health. They produce and deliver nutritious meals to the homes of older people, housebound/disabled people or those unable to prepare a meal for themselves.

Ready for some dancing? 🕺💃 Join Croí Heart & Stroke Charity 's big fundraiser event, Strictly for Croí

Dancers will learn under the guide of a professional dance instructor, and on the night perfom in a professional setting with amazing sound, light etc.
