This is a walkthrough and onboarding of the new PhD Web App we are proud to launch today.

My team and I have been working on this steadily during lockdown over the past months getting feedback from PhD students and getting ready to release the beta version. I want to acknowledge the work of my team mates, UX Designer and project impresario Roman Gordeyev who is doing a PhD himself in Cultural Studies and tech maestro, Semjon Bystrov, software developer, for the fantastic work they have done on this project which has gone above and beyond the brief. I couldn't have asked for a better team in bringing this long-term vision and project to this first release stage.

Thanks also to business mentors Declan Droney and Alan Carey for their advice and guidance at various stages and to LEO Galway and Údarás na Gaeltachta for supporting this project.
The way we develop and train the next generation of scholars and scientists needs to change. The future of science depends on it. I hope this software will go some small way in helping current PhD students to surmount what can often seem the daunting prospect of finishing their PhD thesis.

This is a beta version of the Web App so accessible on laptops or desktops only. A mobile version will be released at a later date. It is recommended to use with Google Chrome browser.
