🥁 Drumroll please...

The TextileArtist.org Community Stitch Challenge is back for 2021!

We’re super excited to announce that for the next three Mondays, we’ll be releasing a brand new textile art workshop every week. And best of all, they’re 100% FREE!

This is for you if you’re passionate about:

Expanding your visual vocabulary by learning new and exciting textile techniques
Stretching your creative muscles by making some really inventive (and personal) pieces of art with fabric and thread
Learning from three of the world’s most renowned textile artists
Taking part in a shared stitch experience with an engaged international community of like minded creative people by your side every step of the way

The Community Stitch Challenge 2021 kicks off next Monday 15th March with a challenge led by a textile artist very close to our hearts...former Chair of the 62 Group (and our mum) Sue Stone.

In 2020, over 20,000 stitchers got involved. Here’s what they had to say:

“This whole experience has been an unbelievably positive focus and the community of stitchers involved have been generous, supportive and enriching!”

“I want to express my full appreciation for all you have done for me and thousands of stitchers around the world. It has been an amazing journey expanding my knowledge, skill and appreciation of the many ways to express oneself in textile art! ”

“After a long period of drifting I have my stitching mojo back. The work you all are doing is keeping stitchers from all over the world together and inspired.”

Dunmore Country Market is now Dunmore Local Crafters! Wishing the crafters all the best for the future!

Dear Customers and friends, we are re-branding! No more Country Market, but we continue to create as Local Crafters! Unfortunately we can't open the shop, but Seomra Eile will continue to support Local Crafters.
Please send a message to this page if you wish to contact any of the crafters or if you are looking for some-one to make something specific and we will do our best to match you up with the right person. We hope to meet you in person again soon and meanwhile we keep creating and showing some of our works here and in the windows of Seomra Eile. Thank you so much for your support.
