Go Wild Forest School

🌿✨ What a wonderful series of school visits with the children from Bawmore NS ✨🌿
Over the past few weeks, we explored, created, discovered & connected with nature together through so many hands-on adventures 🍃

Some of the activities we enjoyed included:
🍂 Nature identification games
👑 Nature crafts — decorating leaves & creating nature crowns using recycled cardboard
🎨 Painting art between the trees
🌿 Potion & perfume making with herbs while learning all about their scents and uses.
🍅 Exploring the polytunnel
🔥 A big finale with marshmallows on the campfire while learning how to light and safely build a fire

✨️And of course, plenty of free, child-led exploration around the woods — climbing, imagining, discovering & simply being in nature 🌱✨

So lovely to watch the children grow in confidence, curiosity & connection with the natural world throughout the visits.

What a fun morning bringing the Go Wild Fun at the Cong Parent&Toddler Group.
🌳We explored with dandelion playdough & made nature pizza
🌳Made flowers crowns
🌳and had splashy fun with the water table- making herb potions& perfumes.

🌳✨ Looking back at our July Forest School Summer Camp, we’re filled with joy and gratitude! The laughter, muddy boots, creative adventures, and new friendships made it a truly magical time for the children. From bug hunts to woodland crafts, every day was an adventure! 🐞🌿

Now, we’re counting down the days until our August camp begins! We can’t wait to welcome another group of young explorers for more outdoor fun, learning, and connection with nature. 🍃
