🤫 we’ve a little secret …
We’ll be hosting a pop up music event tomorrow at lunchtime (1.30pm) at the Claddagh Basin with the wonderful folk group Rón.
Rón are a folk group of four based in Galway, comprising of two fiddles and two guitars with vocals. They perform both contemporary and old Irish folk songs with traditional Irish tunes. They first performed together as a musical group on one of the traditional Galway Ho**er Boats in Galway Bay. This inspired them to be called Rón, the Irish word for Seal.
This event is being funded through the Galway City Council Local Live Performance Scheme.
The event is being held in the open but we would ask anyone who pops by to please adhere to current Covid guidelines and stay safe.
