"from here to there" is a collaborative exhibition staged by final year students of GMIT and students of Crafton Hills College, California.
Using a postcard format, the two groups exchange art works by mail, each college exhibiting the other's work.
First batch of photos are up!!! hope to get more soon, and of course will be documenting all of the postcards when exhibition is finished for all to see.

Our exhibition was set up to display the postcards in the setting of a quintessential Irish home of years gone by.
Tea and cake were on offer at the opening and everyone was encouraged to interact as much as possible.... picking up a postcard to read the back as would be done at home.
Great day today.... exhibition went down a treat. It will be running in Cluain Mhuire for the next week, make sure you pop in for a look!!! For those of you who can't make it pics will follow soon!!
the latest from galway.... the postcards have arrived........ if your in galway tomorrow between 2-4 pm do swing by for a gander and a slice of cake........
well everyone, as i type all the postcards are in the hands of our trusted postal workers.....

The last of our postcards have been finished today... ready for post on Monday!!!
