From Monday, 10 May 2021, you can resume driver training for essential workers, The Adi has developed a new declaration form to facilitate this process. To check if you are eligible for lessons, you can access the list https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/c9158-essential-services/
Once you have discovered if you can take your lessons you need to fill In an Essential worker declaration form for driver training. You can access that https://www.rsa.ie/Documents/Learner Drivers/Driver Training/Essential worker declaration form for driver training.docx This form can be filled out online and printed out to give to your instructor
Under current restrictions, driver training can only be offered to essential workers. Your Driving Instructor will need to see this completed form before they can provide Essential Driver Training (EDT) sessions and/or additional driving lessons.

ADIs can continue to provide instruction during Level 5 to people who have a date reserved to undergo a driving test (an appointment for a driving test).
