Powerboat West Powerboat West is a Galway based company providing Powerboat and Sail training courses in a professional and friendly manner.

Do you know the difference between “Mayday,” “Pan-Pan” and “Sécurité” and how to effectively communicate an emergency message.

Join us on the weekend of - Saturday and Sunday 17th & 18th August for our VHF Marine Radio operators course.

On completion, you will be licensed by the Irish Department of Transport to operate a marine VHF radio with DSC features. You will also be able to operate PLB, EPIRBS and other radio telecommunication equipment that may prove vital in saving your life at sea some day.
