Work by sculptor Sean Henry displayed in Claddagh Sean Henry is internationally renowned for his quietly monumental figures, which transform the everyday into something uncanny and deeply human.

For GIAF 2026, Henry presents a major exhibition of indoor and outdoor works, including new pieces created especially for Galway.

ERASMUS+ COURSES Galway Cultural Institute 🌍

Delighted to welcome participants from over 9 different European countries on our English for Higher Education Professionals programme, a specialised training experience designed for university and college staff who wish to communicate with greater accuracy, fluency, and confidence in English.
Our English language courses are also eligible for Erasmus+ funding, for example, our General English Intensive course, also available for participation at various levels from A2 - C1, every week throughout the year.
