Ultra-Flex Academy of Dance is an award-winning dance school and is the creator of the FlexYoStyle dance teaching method. We teach children from 3-17yrs and also adults who wish to become professional dance teachers. For anyone who knows me, you’ll know that dance education has always been a huge part of my life. Teaching dance is what I truly love, and after almost three decades, I’m incredibly proud to bring these two important parts of my journey together.
Ultraflex Dance Academy is not rebranding or being replaced. It will continue to stand proudly on its own, growing and developing with our amazingly talented team of teachers and students.
Universal Dance represents the next stage of our teacher-training and dance education programme. Together, Ultraflex and Universal Dance will allow us to support dancers from their very first class at four years old, right through their development and into professional dance teacher training—with a further pathway towards an internationally recognised qualification.
Two individual brands, each with its own purpose, united by one shared vision:

What began as FlexYoStyle is growing into something much bigger.
Introducing Universal Dance — a progressive education and training pathway designed to support dancers from their first steps into leadership at age 11, right through to becoming professionally qualified dance teachers.
And it goes far beyond simply learning what to teach.
Universal Dance is about learning how to teach — how to communicate, connect and inspire; how to plan and progress learning; how to understand the individual dancer; how to create positive, inclusive classes; and how to develop the professional skills needed for a career in dance teaching.
It brings together the parts of teaching that happen in between the dance steps — because knowing how to dance and knowing how to teach dance are two very different skills.
From young leaders to professional teachers, Universal Dance is creating a pathway for the next generation of dance educators.
