Wrapping Up a Wonderful Spring at Celtic Student Travel 🌸

As the Spring hosting season winds down, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what has been a truly memorable few months here at Celtic Student Travel.

Since February, we’ve had the joy of welcoming hundreds of French students to Ireland, each on a journey of learning, discovery, and cultural exchange. Based with our fantastic host families around Galway, these students experienced Irish hospitality at its finest 🍀

From the steady rhythm of arriving and departing buses to the laughter and energy that filled every visit, it's been non-stop—and absolutely worth it 🥰

We are endlessly grateful to our host families, whose generosity and warmth continue to amaze us. Their commitment to creating a home away from home for each student and group leader is the heart of what we do. 💖

In return, we work hard to deliver a smooth, well-organised experience for everyone involved—because when we work together, great things happen. 💪

We’re thrilled that so many of our visiting groups are already planning to return next year—some for the second, third, or even fourth time! Your continued trust and enthusiasm mean the world to us. 🙌

A huge thank you as well to our incredible local coordinators, who are the behind-the-scenes stars ensuring every stay goes off without a hitch.

Few more groups to go, and then it’s time for a short breather before we dive into preparations for the Autumn season. Thank you to all who made this Spring such a success!

Congratulations to ’s Dervla Higgins who was today presented with the GPA Player of the Month for July in Camogie.

Her late heroics against Waterford and Tipperary were the difference at the Tribeswomen reached a first All-Ireland final since 2021.

Wishing my daughter Dervla and all the girls the best of luck in the All Ireland Camogie Final today - we will be shouting hard for you all .

As the Spring hosting season draws to a close soon, we thought we would take some time to reminisce on another fantastic term.

Over the course of the last 4 months we have welcomed hundreds of French students to Ireland on educational and cultural school trips and placed them with host families in the Galway area.

What a rollercoaster - buses in, buses out - night after night they arrived - or departed.

To say we are blown away by the hospitality that our host families have provided to both the students and leaders during their stay is an understatement ❤

Our host families really go above and beyond and in return we always aim to ensure the highest levels of organisation and service possible for them. As they say teamwork makes the dreamwork 🤣

With this value in mind we were delighted that many of the groups who have visited this season want to return again next year already - some are repeat groups year after year 👏

A special mention also to our local co-ordinators on the ground who work so hard to keep everything running smooth during each and every stay.

Looking forward to a little break over the coming weeks before the Autumn hosting season begins 🙂 Thanks again to all!

We've had a very busy month with many student groups arriving and departing daily to stay with our fabulous host families across the Galway area 🥰

With the season getting busier and busier it has been brilliant to receive so many wonderful reviews from our host families and visiting groups on our high levels of organisation 😀
This is so important to us and we are so grateful for how organised our host families have been in return!
