This elderly gent has lost the only family he’s ever known – now he’s hoping someone will give him a second chance. Could you share his post to help us find that special person?🙏🥰

Buddy is a beautiful Collie who is nearly 12 years old. Until recently, he had been with the same family since puppyhood. Sadly, they were forced to leave their home, and the only rental property they could secure wouldn’t allow dogs. Saying goodbye to Buddy has broken their hearts💔

Since arriving into foster care, Buddy has been an absolute superstar. His foster dad adores him already and says he’s a pleasure to have around. Buddy is affectionate, easy-going and really loves his walks. He walks beautifully on the lead, is fully house-trained, and travels brilliantly in the car😇

Buddy gets on very well with other dogs and could happily live with a friendly canine companion. He previously shared his home with four children and was always gentle and kind with them. As he hasn’t lived with cats before, we’re looking for a cat-free home.

At nearly 12 years of age, Buddy urgently needs to find a home where he’ll be cherished for the rest of his days🏡💕 We would love nothing more than to see this lovely old boy curled up on a sofa, enjoying all the comfort and affection he deserves in his golden years.

If you live in Ireland and think you could offer Buddy the loving retirement home he’s dreaming of, please fill out our adoption form here:
