We are delighted to let you know that Scoil Mhuire Monivea came 3rd in the recent RIAI Architecture Awards 2020. We were aware that we faced stiff competition so we are thrilled with this result.

Dear Friends,

We are over the moon that Scoil Mhuire Monivea is included as one of 32 shortlisted projects RIAI Architecture Awards 2020, we are facing stiff competition with other education buildings in Paris, Toulouse, London and Dublin but you have your say with the Public Choice Awards so let’s put a modest West of Ireland school on the map.

It’s a testament to the whole design and construction team lead by Simon J Kelly Architects that we have such a wonderful school build with very tight budgets.

Due to some delays in finishing outside work we must unfortunately postpone our opening until September on request from our architect/design team. Thanks to everyone for their offers of help. We will inform everyone of the new date as soon as it is decided. There will be a viewing of the new school on Wednesday 5th June from 3.30pm until 7p.m. for our parents and community.
