Designing for Enhanced Participation through Technology in Higher Education
• Would you like to help us to identify and prioritize action points for developing a technology-friendly inclusive university campus for students with disabilities and for all?

• Are you a student with a disability?

• Are you willing to share your ideas and recommendations for the provision and use of technology in college?

Your participation in a virtual Dialogue Forum on Friday, February 5th (1-3pm) and Friday, February 12th (1-3pm) will help to identify and develop key guiding principles and future actions for designing technology-friendly inclusive higher education for students with disabilities and for all.

Ahead - AHEAD & USI Students with Disabilities Advisory Group 12/12/2020

Our Auditor Saoirse Connolly and our Treasurer Patricia O'Mahony were recently invited to be part of the Union of Students in Ireland (USI) and ahead.ie Students with Disability Advisory group. Ahead - AHEAD & USI Students with Disabilities Advisory Group The 10 enthusiastic and engaged members will inform the strategy and policy of AHEAD and USI concerning the inclusion of students with disabilities in Higher and Further Education. The group will bring a strong disabled student voice into FET and HE policy.

World Disability Day celebrated with the lighting of the Quad at NUI Galway in purple yesterday evening. A very big thank you to Jo Fennick who took the photo and supplied the balloons and the sign. I hope you all had a wonderful day wherever in the world you were celebrating.
