Following advice from and the Gardai, the Board Of Management of SALI Childcare has decided to have a delayed start tomorrow- Wednesday January 8th at 11am. This is to allow all children and staff to arrive safely.

We are looking for a Cook for our preschool and afterschool service
Part time position
€13.50 per hour
Successful candidate must:
· Experience working in a kitchen, preferably in a childcare or similar setting.
· Familiarity with HACCP guidelines and food safety regulations. HACCP Training will be provided.
· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
· Confidently prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or allergies.
· Keep kitchen records up to date and in line with Food Safety Legislation.
· Passion for cooking and providing nutritious meals for children.
· QQI Level 5 Food Safety or its equivalent is desirable

Successful applicant must:
• Hold a QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Years Care and Education
• Have 2 years’+ experience in Early Years care and Education
• Have experience working with school aged children
• Be able to operate in accordance to Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016 and maintain a high standard of quality and compliance
• Must have practical knowledge of Aistear, Siolta and Tusla QRF
• Be able to follow a play based, emergent curriculum
• Be passionate and enthusiastic
• Have ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

(POSITION 2) Full Time Early Years Practitioner (AIM/Assistant) and Afterschool Team Member
• Early Years Care and Education Qualification (MINIMUM QQI LEVEL 5)
• Have 2 years’+ experience in Early Years care and Education
• A qualification or experience’s related to working with children with additional needs is desirable.
• Have experience working with school aged children.
• Ability to follow a play based, emergent curriculum is also essential.
• Must have practical knowledge of Aistear, Siolta and Tusla QRF and how to implement them through all aspects of the service.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of quality and compliance with Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016.
