Support the nervous system, and you support the body’s natural ability to regulate all systems.

A lot of people think a regulated nervous system always means feeling calm.

But that’s not actually true.

Your nervous system is built for life—- not just calm. That includes energy, excitement, attraction, and joy!

Sympathetic activation (often called “stress”) has two sides..

✨With safety— feels like excitement, energy, butterflies, expansion and aliveness

✨Without safety— feels like anxiety, overwhelm, urgency, stress and worry

Same system… different experience!!

So the real difference isn’t calm vs activated.

It’s activation with safety vs activation without safety.

A regulated nervous system isn’t always calm.
It’s one that can move between states and stay grounded in a sense of safety.

It’s not about avoiding activation—
it’s about how you experience and navigate it 🩷

For example…

You meet someone you’re attracted to. Your heart races, you feel the buzz, the energy.
That can feel exciting and alive… or it can tip into overthinking and anxiety.

The difference is whether your nervous system feels safe.

This is the foundation of the work I do.
Understanding your nervous system changes how you experience everything… your relationships, your emotions, your reactions💖

I offer 1:1 sessions where we work with your nervous system in a real, practical way.

DM me if you want to explore this work or book a session.

Your reactions make sense when you understand your nervous system wiring.
The shift happens when you stop fighting your body.

I went to a spa earlier this year, and menopause was listed under “diseases and medical conditions.” I turned to my daughter and said, “WTF? Since when is a natural part of a woman’s reproductive cycle a disease?” 🤷‍♀️ Needless to say I didn’t even entertain it, and questioned the staff as to why it was listed this way!

Yes, menopause can be challenging for many women, but a lot sail through it too. It absolutely needs to be discussed openly, as it is now, and I’m delighted it’s getting so much airspace. But let’s also bring a bit of balance and empowerment into the conversation, because some of the information out there can feel so disempowering.

It’s not just about hormones or the choices you make externally—HRT, supplements, lifestyle changes… it’s about looking inward first — understanding your body, your rhythms, your nervous system, and how you navigate your life.

Your relationships, sense of purpose, fulfilment, friendships, intimacy, parenting, beliefs (personal and heridetary)… and daily choices all shape your experience just as much as biology.

Menopause is not a disease — it’s a natural, powerful process, part of the incredible journey of being female.

This stage honors the resilience, insight, and power inherent in every woman.

I personally see it as a priveledge, one to move and grow through not something to get over or suppress.

If you’d like support, or have questions about your menopausal journey, or what your body is going through right now, let’s have a chat. Feel free to send me a message 🩷

I had one of those moments last week that truly stopped me in my tracks… ✨

While I was on holiday, I received a message completely out of the blue from a client I worked with back in 2024. We had just one Akashic Records session together at the time.

In that session, I shared guidance and healing around letting go of a relationship that was deeply affecting her peace and her son’s wellbeing. As you can imagine, it wasn’t an easy path—but she chose it anyway.

Fast forward to now…

She has full custody of her son.
She stood strong, fiercely represented herself, and created a safe, grounded life for them both.
She’s finalising her divorce next month!

And most importantly.. she told me she has found her peace. 🤍

She also shared that she had just read my chapter in “The Other Side of Fear”, and that “she felt deeply seen in my story”.

It resonated deeply with her own journey… which makes this feel even more full circle.

Moments like this remind me why I do this work and why I’ve written chapters about my personal life stories💓

Because yes, longer coaching containers and journeys are powerful, and I love walking alongside my clients over time…

But sometimes, even one session can plant a seed that completely shifts someone’s perspective and life trajectory🌱

And one chapter of a story can re-ignite that precious light!

As therapists and practitioners, we don’t always get to see how things unfold afterwards.

So to receive a message like this… to witness the ripple effect years later… it’s something I’ll never take for granted 🙏

To my client.. thank you for trusting the process, for doing the hard things, and for allowing me to be a small part of your journey.

And thank you for coming back to share your growth with me. It truly means more than you know. ✨

This is what it’s all about…
Transmuting pain into power đź’«

She also shared some passages from my chapter “She Rose Unapologetically” which resonated deeply. 👇
