The place to learn French and experience the French culture in Galway. All our teachers are qualified native speakers and have extensive teaching experience.

The French Institute is Galway's very own French Language school, located in the Bridge Mills, an 18th century mill situated on the River Corrib in the centre of Galway. Our aim at the French Institute is to allow students of all ages to learn the language in a relaxed and supportive environment. Our students enjoy the benefits of a warm welcome, a pleasant environment, and small-size classes.

📅 1st Year course is on Tuesdays 4.30 to 5.30pm
Junior Cycle groups take place on Tuesdays 5.30 to 6.30pm and on Saturdays 10 to 11am
Pre-Leaving Cert students gather on Saturdays from 1pm to 2pm
Leaving Cert students may join on Wednesdays from 5pm to 6.30pm or on Saturdays 11.30am to 1pm
