Step into the world of ancient kings and discover what true leadership looks like. Over 5 weeks, we will explore what it means to be a leader in God’s eyes—beyond titles, positions, or popularity. Learning from both the triumphs and failures of the kings of Judah, we will discover that true leadership requires courage, discernment, and a heart anchored in God.

‘Love has its speed. It is an inner speed. It is a spiritual speed. It is a different kind of speed from the technological speed to which we are accustomed. It is the speed we walk and therefore it is the speed the love of God walks.’

Psalm for Words
My teacher, giver of words,
Are words all I can learn from you?
Even your name to me is a mere word -
One word, or indeed many.
Word made flesh,
Then flesh made word again.
Do I do your will by repetition?
Do I will your will by imitation?
Give us the words we need to speak the day onward.
Give us the days we need to learn what to say.
Forgive us if we don’t understand.
Give us understanding enough to forgive.
Forget not our love, even when we do.
Get what from us we cannot give.
Your will be done, your words be repeated.
Your will be done, your words be repeated
By tiny specks of dust on a blue planet,
Itself a tiny speck of dust in a black void -
By blessed minds in a beautiful, white world.
A blessed world in an eternity of golden sky.
