Performing Arts School Galway Leading the way, setting the standard. PASG was established over 30 years ago. Qualified teachers teach dance, singing and drama to students aged 3 to 20.

Affiliated to international examining body IDTA. Students perform annually, compete and take exams Classes in Dance, Drama and Singing - fully qualified professional teachers. Yes, we can talk about how trophies, certificates and awards aren’t the most important part. That the real value is in the process, the lessons learned, the confidence gained and the person you become along the way.

But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t celebrate the achievements too. ❤️

It’s so important for children to see their hard work recognised and to experience that feeling of “I worked for this, and I did it.”

We want to teach our students that talent, without work ethic is nothing. If you put your head down, stay committed, keep practicing and don’t give up when things get difficult, you really can achieve things you once thought were out of reach.

So yes, celebrate the certificate. Celebrate the result. Celebrate the achievement.

But most of all, celebrate the work that went into earning it. 🥹👏✨

We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you! ❤️

We see so much more. ✨

Behind every class, rehearsal and performance is a huge amount of thought, planning and care that you may never see.

We’re watching how your child’s confidence develops.
How their balance and coordination improve.
How they communicate, listen and work with others.
Whether they’re being appropriately challenged.
Whether they need extra support or encouragement.
And, most importantly, whether they feel safe, valued and able to be themselves.

Then there’s everything happening behind the scenes, safeguarding, lesson planning, exams, communication, costumes, props, performances, music, organisation…

Because we aren't just teaching children performing arts.

We're teaching children.

And every child who walks through our doors deserves to be seen as an individual, not just another name on a register or another child in a routine.

That’s what makes performing arts about so much more than what happens on stage. ❤️

The studios are full, the music is on, the energy is back, and we’re SO ready for everything this term has in store. 🕺🎤💃

We could just show you the finished routines.

The polished performances.
The perfect choreography.
The big stage moments.
The bits where everything goes exactly right.

And, of course, we’ll show you those too.

But that’s not really what this is about.

Because life isn’t about the destination. It’s about the journey — how you get there, who you get there with, the things you learn along the way, and most importantly, how you feel while you’re doing it.

So why would we only show you the perfectly polished version?

We want you to see the laughing.
The messing around.
The friendships.
The mistakes.
The ridiculous moments.
The learning.
The confidence growing.
The joy of getting it wrong, trying again, and eventually absolutely smashing it.

Because THIS is what happens in between the performances.

And honestly? We think this bit might be the most important part. 🫶✨

If you’re 14–18 and you’re looking for somewhere you can be yourself, make friends, build confidence, learn new skills and actually thrive…
