During our Transport Theme the Penguin Room had great fun turning their foot prints in to different types of transport🦶🚜 This is a wonderful sensory experience for children as they feel the brush or sponge on the sole of their foot along with the cold, wet paint between their toes 🖌️ It is great to see the children’s expressions at this time as some laugh because it tickles and for some it really is a time that they are unsure as they can’t decide if it feels nice or not. 🤭 As the children get older and start to talk, they tell us what it feels like “slimy” is a word sometimes used.
