What a marvellous day 3rd and 4th Class had at the Living Bog, Galway! The children learned about the fascinating flora🌳 and fauna🐦 of the bog, explored the boglands, and took part in exciting soil experiments using sphagnum moss and magnifying glasses. 🔍It was a fun, engaging, and educational experience for everyone. A sincere thank you to Marie and her team for such a wonderful day!☺️

🎉Ireland's Fittest School 2026🎉
On Wednesday we achieved the amazing feat of being crowned 'Ireland's Fittest School 2026'!!🏆 For a small rural school, the opportunity to compete with the biggest in the country is truly incredible and to come out on top highlights the wonderful talents, skills and abilities our students possess. 🏃‍♂️🤸‍♂️🤾‍♀️🏋️‍♀️
Working together as a team and cheered on by our enthusiastic supporters the children navigated the challenges excellently to achieve first place and the prize of €5000 worth of sports equipment!!
We could not be prouder of all of the children in the whole school who put in a huge effort over the past few months!☺️
The joy and excitement of being crowned All-Ireland Champions will live long in the memories! A massive thanks to all who lined the roads with flags and fires on our return to school making it a truly special occasion for the children!!💚🤍
