Cruinniú Lates 2026 ❤️💜❤️💜

Massive thanks to everyone who came out to Fr. Burke Park in Galway's Westend on June 6th and made Youth Lates at Cruinniú Late such a brilliant success. From 3pm right through to 9.30pm, the park was alive with energy, creativity and incredible live music from some of the most exciting young talent in Galway and beyond.

A massive shoutout to headline act BABYRAT, who absolutely lit up the stage, and to all of the outstanding local bands and singer-songwriters who showcased the depth of emerging talent in the city - Moonlight Eclipse, Silence Speaks Volumes, Copacetic, Cats!, Aoibhneas, Mentality, Portraits, JAY, Izzy Melia, Millie Ross, Peripheral, Jamie & Carla - you were phenomenal 👏

Cruinniú na nÓg is Ireland's national day of free creativity for children and young people, giving young people the chance to explore, create, perform, and take part in arts and culture. Music Generation Galway City is seeking a Music Generation Resource Worker to support the delivery and development of performance music education programmes across Galway City.

This role involves programme coordination, event support, communications, administration and working closely with Musician Educators, schools, partners and young people.

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Organised and proactive
• Comfortable working across events, communications and administration
• A strong communicator and team player
