Galway Balfolk Society

Due to recent recommendations regarding public and social events we decided to cancel our last class of balfolk dances. We are really sorry about this but we believe that it is the best way to proceed in order to contain the spread of the virus.
Updates regarding new dates for the classes will be posted in time.

Fortunately this week we are dancing again in Áras na nGael. Join us in our 7th class of Balfolk for new amazing dances ;)

Hi folks, tonight’s class will be happening in a different venue because of an unexpected floor damage in the Áras.
Tonight’s venue will be the Claddagh Arts Centre & Katie's Claddagh cottage on the Fairhill Road in the Claddagh. It’s around 7min walk from the Áras.
The class will also start at 6:15pm so we can be sure that everyone will make it in even if they arrive to Áras first.
We sincerely apologize for the last minute changes and we’re hoping to see you anyways!

This next Sunday is already the 6th class of the Galway Balfolk Society... And because we have been going through so many dances we decided to revise some of the first dances. This is an excellent opportunity for everyone to remember what we learnt so far and for new participants to get to learn them from the beginning. 🎈
